Understanding your plan
A plain-language walk through every budget, what it can and can’t be spent on, and how long it has to last.
Our services
A plan is only useful once it turns into actual supports. We help you read it, spend it well, and end up running it yourself.
People are handed a plan full of line items and left to work out what any of it buys. Calls go unreturned, waitlists aren’t explained, and months of funding quietly go unspent — which then counts against you at the next review.
A support coordinator is the person who does the chasing. We translate the plan into plain language, find providers who actually have capacity, get service agreements signed, and keep an eye on the budget so nothing lapses. Over time we hand more of it back to you, because the goal is confidence, not dependence.
We’ll tell you when another provider is the better fit for a support. Coordination only works if the advice is honest about our own services too.
— How we handle conflict of interest
What’s included
Take what you need and leave the rest — supports are combined and adjusted as things change.
A plain-language walk through every budget, what it can and can’t be spent on, and how long it has to last.
Real options with real availability — including providers other than us — so the choice is genuinely yours.
Referrals, service agreements, bookings and start dates handled, then checked once support actually begins.
Regular checks on what’s been spent and what’s left, so funding doesn’t run out early or sit unused.
Doing it with you rather than for you, until making the calls and reading the invoices feels routine.
Evidence gathered as you go, written up in time for your review instead of scrambled together the week before.
Getting started
We go through your plan line by line and write down what you actually want the year to look like.
What’s already working, what’s missing, and which supports need to be in place first.
We approach providers, compare what comes back with you, and get agreements signed and services running.
Regular reviews of spend and fit — and steadily more of the running of it passed back to you.
Common questions
No, and you shouldn’t feel any pressure to. Where we also deliver a support you need, we’ll say so plainly, show you other providers alongside us, and record your choice in writing. Choosing someone else changes nothing about your coordination.
A plan manager handles the money — paying invoices and keeping the books. A support coordinator handles the supports — finding providers, setting services up and solving problems. They’re funded separately, and most people who have both find they work well together.
It depends on how much coordination is funded and how much is going on. Setting up a new plan takes frequent contact; a settled plan might mean a monthly check-in. Either way you’ll know who your coordinator is and how to reach them between check-ins.
Call us anyway. We’ll point you to free supports such as your Local Area Coordinator, and if coordination is something you clearly need, we can help you put the case together for your next plan review.
Send a referral or call us — we’ll confirm availability in your area, answer your questions and put a simple service agreement in place. No pressure, no obligation.
