A few hours at a time
Regular short blocks that give you a reliable, repeating window for yourself each week.
Our services
A genuine break for family carers — with the person you care for properly looked after, not just supervised.
Carers don't stop worrying just because someone else is in the house. So respite has to be handled well enough that you can leave without checking your phone every twenty minutes — which means the worker arrives already knowing the routine, the medications, the warning signs and what to do about them.
We take a full handover before the first booking and keep it on file, so a Tuesday afternoon off or a fortnight away both start from the same solid base. You get written notes on what happened while you were gone.
Carer burnout is the most common reason a home arrangement ends. Respite booked early is what stops it getting to that point.

Getting started
We sit down with the carer and record the routine, medications, triggers and escalation steps.
The worker meets the person they'll be supporting before the first respite booking.
Regular hours, a block of days, or an on-file arrangement ready for emergencies.
You come back to a written account of how it went, not a guessing game.
Common questions
For planned respite, a week or two lets us match the right worker and complete the handover properly. Emergency cover can often be arranged faster — call us and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.
The support we provide is in the person's own home or out in the community. We don't operate a residential respite facility, so if that's what's needed we'll point you towards services that do.
Yes. Some families use a regular four-hour block every week; others save hours for a holiday. Either works, as long as it's within your funding — and we'd rather you used it than saved it until you're exhausted.
Send a referral or call us — we’ll confirm availability in your area, answer your questions and put a simple service agreement in place. No pressure, no obligation.
